The Brewery

We create beers for a moment. Whether it is celebrating a special occasion, pairing with fine food, recreating, or just enjoying the day. The right beer is the perfect complement to marks life’s moments both big and small.

Our Tried & True series of beers celebrates cornerstone styles from craft beer’s storied history. Our Heritage series of beer styles leans on the European traditions upon which we built the foundation of our brewery. These Heritage series cans feature label artwork inspired by the tradition of barn quilts found throughout the south. The labels have their own unique personality, much like the beer, combining tradition and modernity.

Our limited release bottled beers utilize a natural re-fermentation in the bottle, which produces a soft and pleasant carbonation. Every bottle that leaves our brewery has been conditioned in our temperature controlled cellar to ensure that you get the highest quality with each pour.

FAQ

What is the inspiration for your brewery? chevron-down

We are inspired by the rich brewing traditions of the Old World, characterized by thoughtfully sourced quality ingredients and unhurried processes, while reflecting the unique changing seasons and culinary heritage of the South. Our beers are crafted to be enjoyed at the table – paired with good food, friendship and conversation.

When did you begin brewing beer? chevron-down

We first began producing beer in 2011, selling our products to Blackberry Farm guests and a few select restaurants in the Southeast. In response to increased demand for our beers, we moved into a larger production facility in 2015 and expanded our distribution.

Should I drink your bottled beer immediately, or save it for a special occasion? chevron-down

Our canned and kegged products are best enjoyed fresh. All of our bottled beers are carefully cellared here in East Tennessee before being released for sale, so they are also ready to drink immediately. However, all of our bottled beers are unfiltered and bottle conditioned and, when stored at cellar temperature, continue to develop subtle nuances and character as they age. When kept at cellar temperature, our bottles can be aged for several years before being opened without any loss of quality.
